Ruling number (mulank): add the digits of your birth date until you get a single digit. Born on the 23rd? 2 + 3 = 5.

Missing numbers: write every digit of your full date of birth into the 3×3 Lo Shu grid. Numbers 1–9 that never appear are your missing numbers, and are traditionally balanced with the matching crystals.
